Crockett Row has a new Food Hall and in addition to that a new wall mural! Panther Island Pavilion was added to the mural along with other Fort Worth icons. We decided to take a look into the artist and the idea behind the creation of the mural.
Crockett Row had a local artist Eric Mancini paint the wall mural that can be found in between the Food Hall at Crockett Row and the parking garage. Influenced by street art and graffiti, Eric developed his signature X and O pattern that has become his trademark. He currently has work displayed in Denton, Bishop Arts District, Deep Ellum and recently did some work for Texas Monthly.
They wanted to add a Fort Worth signature element to the piece. Eric translated this by adding the blue wave signifying the Trinity River and adding the Fort Worth icons represented through the different logos found on the piece.
The mural will remain for the longevity of the piece.
