Ubbi Dubbi Sells Out Inaugural Festival, Disco Donnie Presents Donates $15K to Local Charities

During April 27 and 28, the Disco Donnie’s inaugural sold out, Ubbi Dubbi Festival, took place at Panther Island Pavilion. New York, NY, May 3, 2019 — Over the weekend of April 27–28, Disco Donnie Presents’ inaugural Ubbi Dubbi Festival sold out completely, selling 45,000 tickets in two days. In keeping with DDP’s tradition of giving back to the community, today DDP announces that they are donating $15,000 of the revenue to three local charities: The Fort Worth POA “Cops for Kids,” Fort Worth B-Cycle, and Girls Rock Fort Worth.

The lineup for the sold-out festival featured Boombox Cartel, Chris Lake, Claptone, Destructo, Galantis, GG Magree, Golfclap, Illenium, Keys N Krates, Nghtmre, Tchami, Walker & Royce, Zeds Dead and many more in an idyllic riverfront setting in Fort Worth, Texas. Among the weekend festival’s many highlights were two musical premieres. Illenium debuted “Good Things Fall Apart,” his collaboration with Jon Bellion, and Zeds Dead previewed their as-of-yet untitled collaboration with Yookie. Audience response to the festival was overwhelming jubilant with fans sharing their love via the hashtag, #UbbiDubbiFest.

Having successfully launched Ubbi Dubbi, Disco Donnie now turns his focus to Sunset Music Festival which kicks off the summer festival season on Memorial Day Weekend, May 25–26, in Tampa, Florida.

 

About Fort Worth POA “Cops for Kids”
The Fort Worth POA “Cops for Kids” program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2003, and through private funding, has served over 5,000 disadvantaged children in the Fort Worth Community by providing gifts to those children in local hospitals, scholarship opportunities, school supplies, and social activities. Cops for Kids demonstrates local law enforcement’s continued concern for the children in our community by encouraging them to foster stronger family relationships, quality friends, with a focus on education.

 

About Fort Worth B-Cycle
Fort Worth Bike Sharing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in charge of operating Fort Worth B-Cycle. Bike sharing is a mode of transportation based on shared use of public bicycles. In Ft. Worth the bike share is run as a non-profit. Fort Worth Bike Sharing has stations set up across Downtown, the Cultural District, the Stockyards, Near Southside, and the Trinity Trails, where Ubbi Dubbi 2019 was held.

Girls Rock Fort Worth exists to empower girls of all backgrounds and abilities through musical education, performance and workshops.
