Tacos & Tequila Festival

Thousands of attendees came out to the Tacos & Tequila Festival on Saturday, November 5th. Throughout the day everyone got to enjoy an amazing LIVE music Throwback Lineup featuring: T.I., Lil Jon, Chingy, Baby Bash, Mike Jones, Petey Pablo, Twista and DJ Ashton Martin! Other festivities included Lucha Libre wrestling, a chihuahua beauty pageant, salsa & queso competition and more! Also, there was a huge selection of chef-inspired street tacos and hand-crafted margaritas.

Water Lantern Festival

The Water Lantern Festival had an amazing turnout on October 22nd. This fan-favorite festival returned to provide another evening full of family fun with music, food trucks, lantern decorating and a gorgeous lantern launch. Gates opened at 4:00pm for families, couples and friends were able to find their spot at Panther Island Pavilion to enjoy the evening festivities. The lantern launch began at 7:00pm where hundreds of lanterns beautifully lit up the Trinity River for attendees to see.

Fort Worth’s Fourth

Thank you to everyone that came out and celebrated Independence Day with us at Panther Island Pavilion!

Festival goers spread out along the banks of the Trinity River and enjoyed the 15th annual celebration. Thousands attended the free community event and supported local food vendors, partied with live entertainers Metal Shop and Party Machine Band, enjoyed kid activities and witnessed an F-16 Flyover by the 301st Fighter Wing. To end the night, the fireworks show got off to a fantastic start but had to be cut short to ensure the safety of all festival patrons. We apologize for any inconvenience, but as safety is our number one priority this was the only decision.

I AM JUNETEENTH Festival

We had an awesome time at the ‘I Am Juneteenth’ Festival on Saturday, June 18th! This great event returned for the second year in a row!

Attendees came out from 3:00pm to 10:00pm to enjoy local vendors, live music, kid zone, food trucks and fireworks! There were artists such as DJXO, Malcom Christopher II, Sir Earl Toon, Princess Wonda, Jayson Lyric, Rey Sunshine and more!! This family-friendly festival had a fun kid zone with games, bounce houses, a soccer clinic, music production course and a flight simulator!

Overall, it was a good turnout to celebrate the accomplishments and historical significance of June 19, 1865.

FW Fried Chicken & Craft Beer Festival

The weather was hot, the chicken was delicious and the tickets were SOLD OUT to the first ever Fort Worth Fried Chicken and Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, May 21th! This festival was a fan favorite with live music, vendors, fun activities, a Colonel Sanders costume contest, beer, wine and some tasty fried chicken! Guests got to try a variety of fried chicken from 6 different Fort Worth restaurants and then vote for their favorite. Along with their fried chicken, each guest got to enjoy beer or wine (depending on their ticket) to beat the Texas heat! Everyone left with full stomachs, smiles and memories from the BEST Fried Chicken Festival at the pavilion! Overall, it was a finger-lickin good time!

Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate Smokedown

The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate Smokedown had a fire turnout on April 30th at Panther Island Pavilion!! This premier large-scale nonprofit BBQ competition benefitted the mission to make the dreams of young livestock exhibitors come true through educational scholarships. These scholarships equip and encourage individuals to pursue higher education and careers in the agricultural industry. This mouth-watering event allowed hundreds of people to gather together to enjoy live music, drinks, delicious BBQ and an unforgettable BBQ competition featuring the best smokers around! The crowd loved the live music from the special guests Kyle Park, Cory Morrow, Topo Chico Cowboys, The Randy Brown Show, Lauren Corzine and The Raised Right Men! The Syndicate Smokedown had great weather, atmosphere and even better food!

Ubbi Dubbi Festival

Thousands joined together at Panther Island Pavilion on Saturday, April 23rd for the Ubbi Dubbi Festival! Day one was full of music, dancing and an overall incredible atmosphere! Even though day two was cancelled due to severe weather, the party continued that afternoon and night inside The Shack! Ubbi Dubbi Festival 2022 will forever be remembered with the jaw-dropping turnout, head banging music as well as delicious food and drinks! This fan-favorite returning event is always one for the history books!

Water Lantern Festival

Hundreds of families and friends throughout the community showed up to create memories and decorate gorgeous lanterns at the fan-favorite Water Lantern Festival on April 16th! There were games, children’s activities, vendors, music, delicious food trucks and the lantern launch at sunset! As always, this returning festival was a magical evening for all the participants!

River and Blues Festival

The river rambled during the River and Blues Festival at Panther Island Pavilion on November 12th and 13th! Festival attendees got to listen to a full lineup of country and blues artists on the main stage and the House of Beauty Fort Worth stage!

Both days participants got to experience a happy hour, food trucks, vendors, The Photo Bus DFW, and great music! A portion of the concert proceeds, as well as $1 guaranteed from every ticket sold, will be given to Ronald McDonald House Fort Worth.

Water Lantern Festival

Panther Island Pavilion LIT up the sky on October 16, 2021, with the Water Lantern Festival. This event, voted #1 by USA TODAY as the Best Cultural Festival, is a reoccurring fan-favorite at the pavilion! There were food trucks, vendors, music, and outdoor games for everyone to enjoy!

Participants were able to decorate their own lantern with their friends and families while enjoying the ambiance of watching the sunset on the Trinity River. As the lanterns were launched, the river slowly filled with hundreds of beautifully decorated lanterns!

3rd Annual Cigar and Spirits Tasting

On October 9, 2021, the 3rd Annual Cigar and Spirits Tasting kicked off at 5:30pm at Panther Island Pavilion! With live music, food trucks and lots of vendors, everyone had a SMOKE-tacular time!

Guests got to try premium cigars and spirits from around the world and were able to purchase their favorites for their own pleasure after the night was over.

“I Am Juneteenth” Festival 2021

“I Am Juneteenth” Festival took place at Panther Island Pavilion this past weekend on Saturday, June 19, 2021. This event was special, marking the first official year that Juneteenth became a federal holiday!

As part of a full day-long celebration in Fort Worth that kicked off with the Breakfast with Opal Lee and 2.5 mile walk, it continued at the “I Am Juneteenth” Festival! They were able to support local businesses,  listen to live music, and have the chance to support local food trucks. Rudy Rush emceed the event and Vivian Green performed a great show on the Main Stage.

The night ended with a BANG! The firework show that ended the full day of celebration and fun could be seen from miles away.
