Panther Island Pavilion rocked Saturdays this summer!

Summer’s favorite floating party, Rockin’ the River, wrapped up it’s 6-week tubing and music series on August 5. We hope you had a blast, because we sure did!

Tubers and land lubbers soaked up the sun and tunes every Saturday, July 1-August 5. Each week, four bands performed live from the Coors Light Waterfront Stage, including Texas country acts Zac Wilkerson, Zane Williams and Bart Crow. Austin-based Peterson Brothers and Nakia and the Blues Grifters brought some blues and funk to the mix, along with others. A total of 30 bands performed over the series. Admission and parking to the events were absolutely free all summer!

Each night when the sun set, tubers headed for dry land where the after party band played from the South Shore Pacifico Beer Stage. As the ultimate nightcap after a full-day of live music and fun in the sun, a fireworks finale closed out the night. A big ol’ thank you to all who came out to float with us this summer. We’re already counting down the days till next summer.

High five to our rockin’ sponsors Andrews Distributing Company, Coors Light, North Texas Marine, Mac Churchill Acura, 95.9 The Ranch, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Pacifico Beer,  Backwoods Paddlesports and Margaritaville. This event is produced by Trinity River Vision. #tubethetrinity
