Rockin’ the River is back for the fifth year and we have a great season lined up; we’re bringing in some fresh acts as well as favorites from previous years. With the addition of The Shack at Panther Island Pavilion, now all Rockin’ the River events will happen rain or shine!
New this year is a Parrothead theme night with Jimmy Buffett cover-band, The Land Sharks. They’ve played with, backed up, and opened for Jimmy Buffett in concert. Plus they’ve opened for The Beach Boys and even played at the Super Bowl.
The gates open at 4:30 pm and patrons can bring a blanket and chairs or enjoy front row seats from the comfort of a tube. At 6:45 pm the headliner will kick off on the Coors Waterfront Stage. At 8:30pm the after party band will play on the south shore stage and then the festivities end at dark with a fireworks show. In addition to the two stages, the Coors Riverfront Ice House will be back serving ice cold brews, providing shaded seating as well as live tvs which play Rangers games when they’re on!
